1851???

Ok, it would have been nice to know how Elvira got from Vegas in the 80's to 1851...

he.. you're right, i never thought of it that way, i agree on the answer with the second poster here though.

i heard the knock, and there is a froz in my bones,
and i know whats waiting, when i approach the door,
i open the door and say yes?
and there is, the message of death,
i walked slow,
towards the door,
there is no turning back anymore,
in a few moments, everything will be torn,
a frozing feeling like never before,
i open the door, and say yes?
and there is, the message of death.
such a magic day this was, as i look back,
people and places, has been coming from the past,
still it was so peacefull and quiet in the dusk,
i have been travelling to places, visiting people, i thought i had seen the last of,
but before the day was over, something was waiting last,
i heard the knock on the door, and there was no turning back,
i felt it right away, and i knew it for sure,
death was waiting at my door.

This is a prequel. Elvira went from the Carpathian Mountains of Romania in 1851, first to Hollywood, and then to New England (Falwell) in just l37 years.

That would make Elvira a bit long in the fang, but Vampires live forever, and Elvira is a vamp.

I know IMDb has this film and Mistress of the Dark listed as a series, but I don't know why.

In the 1980s Elvira had a TV series where she would host really bad horror movies and inject here own funny, punny, politically-incorrect humor in between scenes. It was hilarious, if you love that kind of humor and/or Elvira!

She did the Time Warp. Again.

"They sucked his brains out!"

"She will remember your heart when men are fairy tales in storybooks written by rabbits"

I like to include "encounter in the the dimension" as a bridging film between the two Elvira movies

The scientist in that film uses his teleporter to transport Elvira from Las Vegas to their laboratory, to sing in 3D for them . Once she's sang, she takes over te computer and we can all assume she has the facilities to teleport to 19th century Eastern Europe.

But I think the genuine explanation is "it's just a comedy movie, doesn't need to make perfect sense, just enjoy the ride"

Sorry about the typos, I replied on my phone and autocorrect changed a lot of it as I hit enter. Sigh
