Wake Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

So I just watched Chaos, and I figured I would check out the message board. Only one problem, there isn't one! Now this wouldn't bother me as much if I hadn't just had the same experience with Running Out of Time, a great Spanish film from 1994. Both of these films are drama/action, both have attractive stars, and edgy plots. You know, the type of films that if made here would be all over our t.v's. But I guess we live in an ignorant country, where if you don't speak english in your movies or songs, you won't get any real attention. So now that I've finished that rant, let me say how dissapointed I am in I.M.D.B users, for not producing a message board for this great movie, or for Running Out of Time. Wake Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this movie. It was like Run Lola Run and Thelma and Louise (took that off the VHS box) Anyway, I love the characters and they're so developed and plot and everything is fantastic. I wish that this film was more well known. It's definitely an un eartherd gem.

Great!! And I just found out both Chaos and Running Out of Time were made by New York or New Yorker Films, along with another great but much slower film, Songs From the Second Floor. I shouldn't have to stumble across this, these films, and this studio should have gotten more attention.

I´ve just seen Chaos: What a great movie! The plot, the characters, the essence of the film,the message, everything is just superb. I am speechless.

I had almost forgotten about this thread. I can't believe it's been over a year.

Yeah, this movie was so good. I don't know why it didn't catch on. But I see on the board now, that a remake is in the works. So I guess we weren't the only ones who noticed how good it was.

I'm not sure if it'll be any good. But the original is good enough for me. I hope the remake triggers people's interest in the original.

The chemistry and quality of acting are so good. And the plot is such a cool and interesting look at many aspects of society.

It's just such a cool and funny little edgy film. People in The States need to get over this english only approach to promoting films here.

Good movie, quite enjoyable. Quirky and fast-paced. Great scenes of Paris. Full of subtle humor as well as obvious elements of farce. Helene (the wife) was superb. If you're one who likes the so-called 'non-Hollywood' type movie, then this one is for you.

This was a very enjoyable film. I recommend Inch'Allah Dimanche, to those who liked this, it was a very enjoyable film as well. Also on the subject of immigrants in France. Though a very different story line it takes a similar tone. It is generally sad to see how women are treated in a traditional muslim culture but it seems that they aren't being accepted anywhere else and that is also sad.

I'd just rented two dogs on Netflix, both French btw, and my heart sank when I opened the envelope today and saw another obscure French film (I never check my queue to see what's next--I want to be surprised) but hey, I really liked this. I remember now it took me a long time to track down, in fact, it was off my (written) list for a few years because I couldn't get any info about it. All I remembered was that it was a French title. Glad to have finally seen it.

I've had this movie for two weeks and I dragged my feet in sitting down to watch it. From the synopsis, I thought that the storyline would be that the prostitute came to live with the couple and the plot would be the interactions of this newly-formed threesome.

How wrong I was.

It has action, a great story and presents the opportunity, as men, to laugh at ourselves.

This is indeed, a gem.
