Seriously! While I normally think Martin Lawrence is an idiot, I have to admit that I really liked this movie. It probably had more to do with the great supporting cast rather than Lawrence's "comic genius" (cough cough). I practically fell off my chair during the scene at the banquet/dance when Percival confronts Jamal who points over Percy's shoulder and says "Behold". When Percival actually turned and looked, I almost peed my pants!!!

your not alone my friend, i dunno why this movie is getting a bad wrap, it certainly didnt win any awards but it was a good movie. Its one of those movies if your bored and its on TV, watch it. The part with the black knight actually gave me goose bumps, i thought it was just such a cool scene.

I thought this movie was really funny. Best parts being when he is sitting in the chair in his room in different positions and also when get gets caught sleeping with the princess and he says "Your daughters a freak!"...... Comedy Gold

yeap LOL sorry but this is just a prove of how stupid is Hollywood right now.
Personally, I didn't like it all that much, partly because it contained so many black stereotypes (i.e. a white woman finds herself sexually attracted to a black man, he constantly uses ghetto slang, etc.) and the ending sucked, but it did have a couple good moments, like when he helps that man who was accused of stealing the king's vegetables to feed his family. Also, I liked Tom Wilkinson in this. He's a fine actor, and his character (Sir Knolte) was pretty cool, I liked when he and Martin Lawrence interacted with each other.
