Did Eddie and Kiki *spoilers*

Did they actually have sex? Or just make out/fool around and fall asleep together? The way they both act, and how angry she gets implies they had sex. Well even if they hadn't had sex I could still understand why she would be hurt by his actions the next morning. But what bugs me is they both woke up in clothing----and Kiki woke up in the dress she was wearing the night before. This movie is PG-13 and it wouldn't have been inappropriate at all for Julia Roberts to be under the covers just showing shoulders or bra straps, and for John Cusack to be shown under the covers just showing some chest and shoulders. His shirt made more sense, cause a guy could possibly throw on a grey t-shirt after sex, and he wasn't wearing it the night before but her waking up in the same dress is just mis-directed. Who puts back on a cocktail dress after a night of sex? She would either be in her undies, still naked or half naked whatever, or asked him for one of his shirts. She could have even woken up in a shirt and we could assume it was his. That really bothers me!! Or were they not to have supposed to even really had sex, but just a romantic night together expressing their feelings and fooling around fully clothed? Wtf?
