I read somewhere that Hayden broke his hand while filming some ´particularly sad scene´ in this movie. Does anybody happen to know which scene this was?

he didnt break his hand he sprained it.........its the scene where he finds out where his dad is dying and he punches the wall
shareHe didnt break it he Fractured it. And it was the scene where he just finds out George has Cancer and he punchs his fist into the wall and thats when it happened. & yes Hayden was really crying in that movie he is so good at it he makes u wanna give him a Big hug LOL Hope that helps ya out

He didn't break his hand. It wasn't in the script for him to punch the wall when he said *beep* you to his dad but he's just such an emotional actor that he did and the director loved it so kept it. They filmed that scene over and they wanted to pad the wall but Hayden thought that the pain kinda fueled the emotion so they didn't and he hurt his hand but did not break it.
