Who is the main source of evil in this game - not Ganon, not the skull kid, not Majora's mask, it's our happy smiling mask salesman. Yes he really is an enigma - next time you speak to him about the recent mask you've collected or to show him your ocarina - have a close look in the vicinty of his.... he seems quite 'happy' to see you.

shareExactly! That's what I feel too. The masksalesman had that evil mask all along and he never practised with it. The masksalesman want's save clock town, the Skullkid want's the opposite just like we're experiencing in the game.
Masksalesman sales happy masks and such, he even teaches the Song of Healing to make link normal from Skullkid's dekucurse transormation.
