Sequel!

It would be interesting and fun to see a sequel of KJS, this time somewhat a bit more explicit than the first, as the first one had NO nudity. Here's my story:

After 4 1/2 years, Jessica and Helen happen to meet each other again. Remembering the time on their first try, they decide to have "it" again. Jessica's boyfriend has broken up and she is will to have some freedom with Helen. Several months pass and Jessica and Helen move into their new apartment together.

Nudity? Yes! The first suffered from a lack of nudity, which made it boring and a chick-flick with accent on the dialogue. This time, Jennifer Westfeldt (Jessica) and Heather Juergensen (Helen) can have real lesbian scenes (maybe some bush) and topless in bed and in bath. This sequel will focus more on their lesbian sexual life than their relationships in the first.

You could contact Helen or Jennifer at their websites about this idea.

Any possible titles or other stories?

No offense, but a sequel isn't needed, and if one were made, that would be a terrible idea. The first was amazing on its own - brilliant! It wasn't about a bunch of sex and nudity. That wouldn't fit well in the movie. And with the message of the first film, with Jessica being straight and them knowing it won't work but still remaining the best of friends, there's no way that would work as a sequel. Them "giving it another go" would be stupid, because it WON'T WORK! Jessica is straight, Helen isn't, and Helen wants the whole package (including sex). Jessica tried, but she couldn't change the fact that she was straight.

While a sequel isn't needed, I would obviously see one if it were made. But I know it wouldn't use that idea, or hopefully nothing with the two women trying again. That would be unrealistic and pointless when again, it wouldn't completely work.

the whole point of KJS was the PLOT its not about the sex, in fact thats the whole point, despite loving helen, jessica was not IN love with her - stop trying to make films all about sex and watch the STORY.

KJS is a 15 rated film - if there was more sex in the film it would be a 18 rated film -thats 3 more years where people cant watch it - do really want this film to be missed by 3 years worth of people just so you can see some bush( as you so nicely put it). cos if thats what you want then there is something wrong with this world.
(by the way i realise the 2nd film would be different story however whats the point in the sequel being made at a higher rating if the original audience would still be to young to watch it all over again- cos they may not be bothered by the time they are old enough)

bound is an 18 film, i saw it when i wasa 16 if it had not been on telly i would have missed it (cos i could not have rented it till about a month ago)- im glad i didnt- cos if id had to wait till now i probably would not have bothered - and that would have been a shame - cos that is a great film about love and trust.

Boring? Because it didn't have any nudity?!!!!

Nudity has no place in a romantic comedy, imho (think of the best romantic comedies of all time and how many have nudity?--None). This was a very good film, probably among my top five for the year, because of its charming leads, some nice dialogue, wonderful acting by the supporting cast (most especially Tovah Feldshuh), and amusing, believable scenarios. Why did it "need" nudity. I'd suggest checking out the porno section. I understand they contain a lot of nudity.
Fortunately, most of the quality movie makers realize that romantic comedy and nudity do not a good alloy make. Sequel? Sure, but lets stick to the same general formula and keep the NC-17 ratings for other genres. Cheerio!

Dude.... Just watch a porn movie, ok?

I just "love" these loser-men who can't stand to see 2 or more females together unless there is sex involved, otherwise the loser-men will fall asleep from boredom. What does that say about the maturity of these viewers? What sad-sacks! ...Speaking of sacks, why don't you guys just rent porn and play with yourselves? You'd obviously be a lot more entertained by that than by a real movie.

Hi guys
I have just watched KJS for the second time and I too agree that there should be a sequel. "Myers" and Mom Stein's interference didn't really give te relationship a chance and only made Jess undecided.
By the end of the movie, I got the impression that, even though they were now "Friends" that Jess has finally realized she wants Helen back and as she was the one who couldn't commit originally, she should be the one to make the running now.
I don't see how 7Train's ideas wouldn't work.
What would be wrong with contacting Jennifer+Heather and at least SUGGESTING a sequel to them?.

Theres' nothin' wrong with that!
In fact I think it is a good idea ;)
Do they have a website or something like that to contact 'em???
