hey all,
this movie was amazing! i saw it for the first time yesterday... i also love thirteen.... i was wondering isnt there another movie about a school shooting? not about the aftermath? i enjoyed this movie, it really moves people... it really goes through how people can be effected by something this tradgic. anyways. thanks for lettin me add on to the boards...

Heart of Amercia -though very good indeed- is not similar at all. Yes, they both deal with the subject of school shootings but from completely different perspectives. I wouldn't dare say that there's another film like Home Room. This is so unique, so perfect and definitely among my personal top 100 movies of all time.

i only know of school shooting ones but not nesesarily like this one but they are bang bang you're dead, elephant, hearts of america.

Zero Day and Elephant are the only other two I can think of. Both good films.

I've seen all three--Zero Day, Elephant, and Home Room and my vote goes to Elephant. then Zero Day. then Home Room.

called 'life before her eyes'
with Uma Thurman and its about A woman's survivor's guilt from a Columbine-like event twenty years ago causes her present-day idyllic life to fall apart.
