This isn't the first of them, This is maybe like... the 3ed or 4th time DevilMan has been redone. There is also a live action/CGI film out there also, with great CGI work to.... Check it out.

We meet again framer! The Apocalypse Of Amon is the third movie I think but I am not sure if it the follow on to the first 2 animes. Judging by the story of the *beep* live action film I guess it is the follow on.
Anyway, Devilman is the first anime I watched and it is still my favourite. I am not sure whether I prefer number 1 or 2, I think the story of number 1 and seeing the two non demon boys running away from demons in the dark forestry makes me love the first one the most.

I am dying to make the Playstation one game they made of Devilman. Does anyone know where I can get it? I've tried ebay no luck there.

there is a 3rd ova called Amon, Apocalypse of Devilman. It's quite good, you can find it on bit torrent. Apparently it was originally a pay per view thing in japan in 2000 and didn't see release for quite a while.

I've found a torrent with the entire manga (to date of the creation of the torrent, don't know if that's still going), all OVAs, and a live action version (dubbed and subbed versions) on demonoid.com.
