I'm a great fan of Lovecraft's stories but haven't seen much that does them justice on film - this was as close as any.

Great atmosphere and some memorable characters - really enjoyed it.

Still, I too really liked it. It did manage to catch some of the Lovecraftian feeling plus it had one of the best (and longest!) chase scene in the movies.

It does feel the most Lovecraftian out of all the film adaptations I've seen of his work, I would like to see another that captures the same atmosphere as this.

Agreed. A very creepy atmospheric movie along the lines of Event Horizon, Ghost Story, or In The Mouth of Madness.

I thought it would be cheesy with bad acting, but it wasn't too bad.

They did a pretty good job with conveying the fear of having an entire town after you.

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.
