Pollack - that dude was awesome


It was his character that kept me interested in this movie. I was even able to barely stand sam jackson. Well, that might be stretching things a bit.

He really was a very good actor in his own right, aside from the fact that he was a great director. But yes, his role is a dominating one in this film.🐭

Every time I see him in anything (like Changing Lanes today) I get such a pang of sadness. He truly was an amazing actor and director. I miss him popping up in things like Sopranos and Civil Action, small roles but so very memorable.

Don't forget Michael Clayton -- he totally commands the screen in that one. Something about Pollack always radiated pragmatic intelligence. See also: Eyes Wide Shut.
