The divorce court judge would not sympathize with Doyle for being late IF he was in a car crash which he was? This one point in the movie bugged me from giving it a 9 or a 10 I gave it an 8 because other then that one painful unrealistic occurrence the movie was solid. My question is is it more plausible then I'm making it out to be?

I agree, that was lame; but so was Affleck seeing Jackson walking down the very street he was driving on. And A. *knowing* would go so crazy he'd be arrested at his kid' school - or maybe the arrest was just a "bonus" for him.
