After all the stuff he was able to pull off, the audience should be willing to accept that he could manage to find his way to the mother's house.

Again, based on all the stuff he was able to pull off at that point, it’s easy to imagine that he could find his way to his mother’s home
From escaping an Airplane in handcuffs through the bathroom under the airplane while it was still arriving and then ditch the FBI for miles just to get to his Mother's house in Christmas to see she was with someone to go back right into the hands of the FBI.
