I watched this movie yesterday. First thought? I'm thinking, how could one not get caught? Very interesting, so, if anyone has more links, please?
He's a pre-digital identity thief.
I only watched the first 12 minutes or so, but listening to him speak was -- interesting? I guess. I think there's a cadence to his speech and mannerisms that suck you in. He seems least likely to con someone.

If you do watch till the end, he spouts things like family values and good virtues. It's really sweet. His kids seem to have not followed in his fraudster footsteps, lol.
It's fascinating how easy it was for him to replicate checks and identification during his con artist days.
Nowadays, that kind of identity theft has upgraded itself. His story makes me think of the savvy hackers that exist in places like Eastern Europe and Russia. They're in the USA too, but any story is better if your hacker is from a Russian speaking territory.
