Sure let Frank go free but Steven Russell got life sentence for this

Steven Russell fraud in different ways and was sent to jail for it then with odd and clever tactic's he would escape. They finally gave him life sentence just because they thought he "embarrassed the state" by all these things and now he's under strict surveillance and is only allowed out of his cell for one hour a day yet Frank Abignale pretty much did the same things and he got babied for it. Did I miss something?

Have to agree there, I hate when Hollywood makes a thief look likeable and makes him a Hollywood star. The guy is bounces checks all over the country and cost the fbi thousands of man hours that could be spent elsewhere. What do we do? We make a movie about him and pay to see his lectures. Yet, if Joe next door bounces a check, he's skum. This guy must laugh every day. First he screws banks and people, and now he gets PAID to talk to them?!?! Its the same thing as walking in a bank and robbing them, he just did it in a different way.

Bottom line, he didn't do enough time for the crime.

yes you did miss something apparently, the "they" you refer to will act according to whatever benefits them. Its like when a cop gives one person a ticket for parking illegally because hes in a bad mood, but then the next day gives out warnings for speeding because he doesn't feel like filling out the paperwork. the law is all according to who is in the position of dealing justice not because the law is on paper.
