This movie has the most ingenious credit sequence I've ever seen.
I just wanted to say that.
sharehey..i just watched this earlier today, and it was good. love anythin with tom hanks lol. but i'm curious..who is Frank Jr.'s wife? just says he got married but not to whom. i assume it wasn't Brenda cuz he just left her at the airport like that. thanks
shareI agree. Just amazing!
shareIt's definitely an interesting one. You should look up Saul Bass. He's the influence for this style.
"Hitler! C'mon, I'll buy you a glass of lemonade."
Saul Bass' credit sequence for Vertigo is also one of my favorites.
It's not that I don't trust you, it's the devil in you that I don't trust,
Agreed, it's so whimsical and creative, just like the movie. Loved it!
shareI agree... along with The Man With One Red Shoe. Oddly enough, another Tom Hanks movie.
shareThen I would guess there's a world of greatness in film making of decades past that you will discover and love.
share@mariposa-9 It reminded me of the famous credit sequences of the Pink Panther movies.
Interesting to see that John Williams did the music too - it's nothing like the big brassy music he does for blockbusters like Star Wars and Indiana Jones, so it must've been fun for him to try something new.
