i really loved black mask 1 but am hesitant to see this because it has andy lau and not jet li. Does this have as many sick fight scenes and shooting scenes as black mask 1? is the story as exciting adn engaging? and is andy lau even close to jet li?
shareThis film is truly impressive for the technical achievements in the modern filmmaking rather than some martial arts. For this it's without any doubt masterpiece. But don't expect similar film to the first one, as this film seems to work on its own, even though the story is almost the same.
Story exciting and engaging?! well.. well. that depends on your taste and mood. For me Black Mask 2 is a much superior as a film.
If you want to see Black Mask 2 just imagine an episode of Power Rangers but with some extremely terrible acting, crappy CGI and B movie style gore. This movie is truly awful. You could watch it, but just don't say I didn't warn you.

The original is just another generic below-average action film. Black Mask 2 is wayyyy better than any amateurish X-Men film or SpiderMan an that says a lot!
