Who shot Kendall?
I had to watch this movie twice to be able to follow it, but I still can't figure out how Kendall got shot...

When Dunbar/Pike is supposedly telling the truth in the end, it's assumed that West shot Kendall, which I guess would be true... even though the whole argument was probably not sincere, it might have happened just as a pretend thing, I mean... Kendal WAS with Dunbar/Pike and might have overheard a SCRIPTED (script-within-script... ugh!) argument... a ruse.

Weren't Kendall and Mueller supposed to shoot West at some point? If Kendall changed his alliance (for lack of a better word) and went along with Section 8, why would West have shot Kendall if he was in on it, too?
...Or did he change his alliance *after* he was shot? Ugh... too much thinking.
Kendall was supposed to kill West, but without Mueller he was probably to chicken to do it himself, he onll went with Dunbar/Pike's story because Dunbar said he would drop the dime on him otherwise
