A remake worthy of the original.
So many props to Mr. Englund, and to whomever decided to reuse "The South's Gonna Rise Again."
The end got a bit silly, but I'm not mad.
The end was the best part

Yes, there are lots of remakes are that are okay, but very, very few that are as good as the original. I think this is one of the rare examples where the original and remake are equally good.
