Pat Kenny????

pat is good on the radio but has about as much personality as a plank when put in front of a camera. he never lets the conversation flow beyond what his set questions are. If by chance a guest has something interesting to say it is brutally ended by "we'll come back to that" which inevitable leads to it never being mentioned again. The next gay byrne? i dont think so. does anybody else agree?

Oh, definitely. Whenever he laughs, it's so forced. He's so uncomfortable being light.

All I know is my gut says maybe.

Totally agree! He's so cringe-worthy, he's a real-life Alan Partridge. I bet if they showed this outside Ireland, they'd think it was a comedy.

I noticed that with his set questions too! Someone could admit to an affair with Bertie & he'd just carry on with the next one on his list. And he wont let his set questions go til he gets an answer! A couple of years ago, Pat kept asking Roddy Doyle about the current problems teachers have & THREE times, Doyle answered "well, its 15 years since I taught" and was obviously getting annoyed. Eventually Pat dropped it, but his next question was also ridiculous and Doyle said "You're going to have to ask me more pointed questions than that, Pat". Oh, I was behind the sofa with embarrassment...

OMG Get rid of him

What would all the mammys watch then?
Besides, its probably great entertainment if you don't find a real-life Alan Partridge/David Brent type person too cringe-worthy to watch (my boyfriend finds it hilarious)
