I'm Brian, and so is my wife!

But Brian is Jim Henson's son, and he *has* worked on a lot of the Muppet projects. Just look his name up to see. :)

Interesting that this film is more ambitious and interesting than any of his father's muppet work.

But I just got the DVD and it has Jim Henson's name all over it...

Thats beacuse its Jim Henson's creature shop, but Jim Henson died and Brian has taken over proceedings. Hes not just going to change his dads company to his own right?

I was confused by the title too (when re-broadcast on TV it was called "Jim Hanson's Jack real story etc", considering the movie came out a year after Jim Hanson passed away. I assumed it was a project Jim and Brian worked on together and that's why J's name figures so prominently.

Either way, I gave up about an hour into the whole ordeal. I really wanted to like it but got lost and faded in and out once horses and hajibs were involved...huh...

Jim Henson's Labyrinth was an amazing adult / fairytale that I couldn't take my eyes off and even bought on video. Completely enchanting, vaguely dark, Puppets and plot are perfect. An instant classic!

I had hopped for that here, but alas...

The production company is named after Jim Henson, so everything they do will have his name on it.
