Why no bluray yet? The entire series was shot using 35mm colour film and will therefore produce very high quality HD video. Come on Beeb, release it (and the Ascent of Man while you're at it, although that used 16mm, so won't come out as well!)

shareBBC are transmitting this in HD in the UK from 16 February 2011. Hopefully the high-def master will be transferred to DVD and Blu-Ray before too long.
