NEWS FROM LUCY DANIEL RABY - THE CREATOR OF BIG KIDS

HI BIG KIDS FANS!

I know it is a long time since the show aired in 2001, but it has been repeated since until 2007

Just to let you know that I am the Series Creator, and you will see my name either at the beginning of every episode or at the end of every episode. I wrote 3 of them and we had a great team of writers, but I created the whole idea, and the idea for the Ming word trigger.

Here's the good news - I keep talking to young people, now in their 20's who remember the show clearly. I have always thought the show was rather short changed, especially my part in the proceedings, and they should have commissioned a second series.

So I have decided to try and do a movie version! I am working on the plot outline for the movie now and talking to producers.

So watch this space.

By the way, if you remember Episode 5 - the famous restaurant scene - it was my daughter Isabel in the background in the toilet scene, the taller one. She was 11 then and is now 26 and working in TV. I was also in the background sitting at a table with the set designer!

So anyway - watch this space Big Kids fans - I hope the movie version may come out some time in the future.
