I really loved this movie. I have seen it quite a few times and every time I watch it it touches me the same way it did the first time I saw it. Everything about it came together perfectly such as the actors , setting , and definitly the music. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any other movies with the same theme as this one. That is the one thing about a really good movie it just leaves you wanting more.
shareWell, there are a few that I can think of. Yes, I'm a fan of the ole reincarnation theme. I believe in it more and more all the time. Okay, there's "The Reincarnation of Peter Proud","Dead Again" and "Deja Vu".
But they all have a violent element to each of those. "Chances Are" is a romantic comedy. I did love "Yesterday's Children" because it was based on a true story. I wish there were more real-life reincarnation stories turned into movies.
about a woman having strange things happening to her mind? how about all jane seymor movies from the late 90's, early 2000.. i'm kidding, but both "a memory in my heart" and "heart of a stranger" deals with similar story as this, a woman who sees visions from the past, and she don't recognise what it is, and that's only by the things i've seen, maybe she's done more similar roles.
anyway, actors won't speak badly about their movie untill after they have promoted it, they can diss it a while later. but jane seymor said this was a good movie, when she was on a show i saw recently, talking about it. then i saw it when it aired a while later.. and it is.
funny thing is, it was shown on one of those "mtv-like" tv channels, you know, supose to appeal to younger viewers, but this movie sets place in a 1930's ireland!, and its pretty heavy stuff. so that doesn't make any sense.
i didn't know untill i started watching the movie that it includes the great hume cronyn in one of the roles.

I remembered watching a film long ago called "the Two Worlds of Jennie Logan' starring Lindsay Wagner.
It was quite an intriguing and beautiful film and left quite an impact on me about reincarnation.
