What Happened??

3 Weeks prior to the 1989 Survivor Series, I received an invite to a WWF house show in my town. I never watched wrestling before, and after that day I loved it. That PPV was one of the best, everyone was on their game. But I always wondered, what happened to Tully Blanchard in the final match. Akeem and the Widow Maker (Barry Windham) were replaced by Bad News Brown and the Earthquake respectively. And when the show opens, Vince runs down the matches with the new lineups. They never showed the Brain as a replacement for him at the beginning or at the midway point. I always felt that something went wrong. Why didn't Hogans match end the show like all the other PPV's. I think something that was unscheduled happened, and after that night, you never saw the BrainBusters in the WWF/E again. If anyone knows what happened, injurty, a $ hold-up, etc. Let me know. Akeem was injured and Tully failed a drug test. I have no idea what happened to Windham.

According to Wiki, he left under personal reasons, which turned out to be his dad and brother were going to jail for counterfit. He was only in the WWF from around July to November, it was a blink and you miss him kind of run.

What's also strange is that he left about a week or 2 before the Survivor Series but he was billed as being part of the 1990 Royal Rumble. He was replaced by the Red Rooster.
