In the scene were Molly and Ray are on the street and ray says;
"Fruit punch? Why don't you just drink cyanide? At least it's quick." I don't understand why Molly takes a sip and throws the can? and says damn...
She finishes the drink and throws it in the bin...

I believe it was because Ray just brought to her attention that the fruit punch isn't the best for her body because of all the junk in it so she no longer really wants to drink it. Like if your eating a meal at a restaurant and you see in the kitchen there are cockroaches and rats you don't really want to finish your meal. Though I may be wrong. I hope I helped though.
