2 stars out of 5. Here's why:
What fantasy does every kid have? That they're able to act like adults. What fantasy does every adult have? That they're allowed to act like kids. What happens when both fantasies come true and get mixed? This movie! After losing all of her money, MOLLY GUNN accepts a job she doesn't want: To babysit RAY SCHLEINE, the world's youngest hypocondriac. You know, if RAY was a man and was the same age/older than MOLLY, this would be a Woody Allen movie. It even takes place in New York! RAY's mom doesn't pay much attention to her, which is why she hires a woman with an empty resumé and that looks like a rock star. She's not, but she's the daugher of one. I'm relieved she didn't inherit the drug addiction and the STD.
The rule of odd couples is that they're meant to annoy each other, not the audience. MOLLY and RAY are unbearable! I didn't care if they became friends! I didn't care if they kept fighting! I didn't care if they solved the mystery by dinner time! I... didn't... care!
