Better than the first

I sort of liked this movie, I am a Christian but that's not really why. I didn't like the first one very much, it had an interesting story but the movie just felt really boring, the only reason I watch it is because I like Casper Van Dien and Starship Troopers is practically the only movie he's in that I like. I only watched the second one because I'm a big fan of Michael Biehn and he hasn't been in a lot of good stuff lately (apart from Grindhouse), also I just wanted to see what a sequel to the Omega Code would be like. So I watched the Omega Code 2, and I was expecting it to be really stupid from everything I heard online. It had some silly scenes, and I can understand what some people don't like about it, but I felt like it had a more fun, energetic feel than the first one, plus a few war/battle/action scenes that the first one didn't have. It wasn't the most well made movie ever, it wasn't the most realistic movie ever, and it wasn't the most serious movie ever, but overall I had a fun time watching it and I thought it was enjoyable. Does anybody else know what I mean?

I agree with you. I watched it with about 20 people last night and granted there was the occasional comedic commentary, the movie went over well with everyone. It was a good story, with great special effects, and not nearly as much "cheese" as I had anticipated. So, without hesitation I give this movie a thumbs up!

This movie was way better than the first. The first had a nice suspense/thriller plot to it. In essence, like Evil Dead 1 and 2, this is basically a remake of the first. And I liked this time around because it was more intense. Stone challenging God was perhaps one of the most powerful scenes. The battlefield at Meggido was wild too.

Hell yeah! Megiddo ruled! The first was good but the sequel was WAY TIMES BETTER.

This movie is a piece of crap!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. To prefer this movie to the first one is, in a way, like saying I prefer pounding my toungue flat with a steak tenderizer and then stapling it to the ground with a croquet hoop instead of being force-fed my own feces.

Neither one is desirable, but if you gotta choose....

This film is more over the top, and more inspired by The Omen films. It was allot of fun and lots of great moments, but besides it's abrupt ending the 1st film is much better in my mind.

I was at the same shoot. TBN fed the homeless, the nights, I was there. I was the homeless guy, on the sidewalk, wrapped in a blanket, next to a burning trash can. I was also inside the church, chanting, "Save Us." I cannot remember, who booked me.
