it's not on the soundtrack and I've scowered the internet. anyone know where I can find both the opening and closing song, On White Horses??

reply

The closing credits version is the first song on the soundtrack...which btw the soundtrack is awesome

I have the opening credits version - "White Horses" by Jacky/Jackie Lee which I found out, in my own search for the song, was the title track to an old tv show. I have a version of it but I can't remember where I got it from exactly .. maybe if you try searching for the show "white horses" you may come up with something.

oh wait, I just found the site I got it from ... http://www.geocities.com/thewhitehorses/

hope this is what you were looking for :)

I think the version on the film and therefore soundtrack is actually by Lucy Street.

The first version played (while they are children) is by Jacky. The second time the song is played (when they have children) is by Lucy Street. And I have scoured the internet and found an MP3 of the Jacky version, which I'd be glad to share.

I have the Lucy Street version of the song, been searching for ages.... If anyone's interested getting the mp3, notify me at: [email protected]

Any film that starts with White Horses is fine with me.

White Horses for anyone who is interested is the best childrens programme ever*, well for those of us of a certain age it is, but since most of us can't really remember things about it it's also the most frustrating, even more so when you consider the British version was stupidly wiped by the BBC!
Luckily the song survives.

*This doesn't include Robinson Crusoe which is one we do remember. Fortunately this is available on VHS and DVD. Doesn't make up for the lost "White Horses" but there you go that is the BBC for you.
