For Those of You Who Liked This Movie (Recommendation)

I would really recommend the novel Summer Sisters. It's very similar to this movie, but 100 times better to me in the way it captures the passage of time and the way people change.

Summer Sisters is about two girls who meet at 12 in the 1970's and spend every summer on Martha's Vineyard. It follows them and the people around them throughout the years and is really a beautiful read. It's an adult novel by Judy Blume and is an easy read.

Having seen this movie after being in love with Summer Sisters for years I wasn't totally stoked on it as many seem to be because this concept has been done so perfectly already.
