U.S. versus U.K. Versions? Any other added scenes?

So I've heard that the scene between Nat and his then-wife Isabelle, where she is despondent in the bathtub after not getting a role, was not included in the U.S. version, but only the U.K. I have only just watched the movie for the second time after quite a while, and this time I watched it online, so I may have been streaming the U.K. version, but it had the scene this time...since it has been a while since I saw it the first time (on U.S. TV) I can't say for sure whether it was included or not, but I don't remember it from then. While a small scene, I found it fairly important, as it shows characters outside of Holly and Marina carrying on with their lives, and how Nat did genuinely care for this other woman while his torch ultimately burned for Holly underneath it all, rather than merely twiddling his thumbs waiting for Holly to make another appearance.

In any case, my questions are 2: One, can anyone CONFIRM that this scene is only in one version of the movie? And 2, is this the ONLY scene that is different between the 2 versions? I hope we're not missing out on anything else.

I wish this movie was more well-known, especially in the states. It's brilliant and haunts me in a strange way after each time I watch it, but it's a hard-sell description wise to friends who haven't seen it yet, as to describe the plot ("Well, there's these 2 girls, and they're...friends, but it gets complicated") sounds like you're describing either a very boring or a very girly movie. But this is so much more than that.

Yes, the bathtub scene is only in the UK version. I'm American, but saw the film in UK theaters as I was visiting at the time it was released in the cinema. I really liked it and bought the dvd in the US, but also found the bathtub scene to be removed. I hate it when they create different cuts of the film. I agree that the scene adds to the movie and that it wasn't great to cut it.
The film is a small gem - I find it to be very resonant in terms of showing the dynamics of toxic/claustrophobic friendships.

Thank you! At least now I know for sure. And glad to meet somebody else who gets this movie.
