link 2 the past

after i beat gannon i was headed to the doorway to end the game when i fell off the edge right next to the doorway and instead of falling to the floor below i fell into a room filled with blue rubees and when i picked them all up and headed out the doorway to the south i came out of links house in the light world....this happened on the SNES version and it had only happened once...has this ever happened to anyone else
