This should be made into a movie

I think this should be a movie and the cast should be:

Link- Some new actor
Zelda- Liv Tyler Or Natalie Portman
Gannon- Hugh Jackman
Agnahim- Christopher Lloyd
King- Ian Mckellen
Link's uncle- Bob Hoskins
That old sage guy- Christopher lee or George carlin LOL

all the monsters should be cgi
and a composer should do the theme song in like a movie version

I agree. This should . . .no, make that MUST be made into a movie. I love the games and would even more love to see a movie.

I agree! But I think Donnie should play Ganon since he acts the very same way in real life. He even has both the same oinkie features and the belly to go with it as well.

But this movie would be very very long. Beating the three pendant alone would be 2 hours of intertainment. It would have to be like 3 parts for the crystals, and one more hour worth for the destruction of Ganon. Personally, I'd get bored if this was only one of the entire series. Otherwise it would be totally awesome.

it's not that "old sage guy" it's sahasrahla

it would be impossible to make a zelda movie true to this game.
but i totaly agree that they should make a movie based on zelda, and preferably from where "a link to the past" is in the storyline.

The actors you listed is not a bad selection either, but they should definetly use Koji Kondo(the man who made most of the soundtracks), for the composing part...

And to make it as true to the game as possible, they should make Shigeru Miyamoto direct it (at least he should be there), if he wants to of course. It's not even sure he wants to make a movie out of it. It could either be a huge sucsess or a bigg flopp...

You know who'd be the perfect Gannon? Michael Clarke Duncan of "The Green Mile" and "Daredevil". He's got the stature to be sure, but his voice lends itself well to sounding evil as hell.

If they did make this into a movie, though, I'm sure they'd find a way to screw it up.

I don't mean to impose, but I am the Ocean.

I think it would make for an awesome movie!!!

What would you guys say if I told you I've developed a plot for a Zelda movie trilogy that could:

Make the fans of the game happy
Appeal to a mainstream cinema group
Not mess with the game's storyline (bad enough to ruin the flow of the games anyway)

Private message me for details.

isn't gannon a blue pig thing?

It would probably be CGI not an actor.

reply

No it shouldn't!

reply

Well Agnahim (sp?) was Ganon's "puppet" body and then he showed his true self at the end of the game. I'm pretty sure that's how it went, if not somebody please correct me.

I'm a huge fan of the Zelda games, and have been playing them since I got an NES about 19 years ago. But a movie version? I don't see it working very well outside of a cartoon. Think about it, a guy maybe 17-19, wearing Link's skirt-like garb and that floppy hat, shooting beams out of his sword at talking skeletons. No.

As for your actor suggestions...Elijah Wood? Christopher Lee? Liv Tyler? Playing the same type of roles they did in Lord of the Rings???

Exactly how would it be any different from that movie? C'mon guys, I highly doubt those actors would want to star as elves or dwarf-like creatures or sorcerers in yet another fantasy movie.

There should be an entirely unknown cast so no one can relate to anyone else as an actor, except for Tom Cruise in alot of makeup to play Agahnim.

Everyone will speak Hylian with the respective subtitles wherever it's released. That way it won't be too American or too Japanese, and the foreign speaking will really set the mood for somewhere strange. Anyone who watches foreign films or even has seen the two mel gibson movies will probably agree subtitles aren't so bad if not an art form.

Link will be mute. That way he doesn't get the proper respect, and he'll only make the assorted sounds you hear in the game. Watching him will be cooler than hearing him. I believe this game calls for a 15 year old Link.

It would be a terrible idea to have cgi monster because thats how every movie is these days. Extroadinary makeup, models, and minatures will bring back the feel of a good old 80's fantasy. Backgrounds and film style cgi would fit nicely for the surrealstic scenes from 300

any other ideas?

Sorry, but Nintendo is never going to allow any more adaptations of their video games ever again. The Zelda cartoon and CD-I game were bad enough.

What scares me is that I have no idea if you're being sarcastic or not...

Wonder Twin Powers, ACTIVATE! Form of...a Frost Giant!
