This`s got to be one of my favorite Turkish movies along with Muhsin Bey and Hababam Sınıfı, as well as in my top ten overall (right up there with Office Space , Harold & Kumar Goes to White Castle.)
i know this is a much late reply, but i would like to know how anyone who likes this movie and muhsin bey could also put that "hababam sinifi" on the same list of great turkish movies...

on the movie itself: this is from the period when cem yilmaz was still a bit on the underground side of the popular culture. all his other movies... i won't say that they are bad, but they are of the ordinary, not-too-bad type.
