has anyone got this? please read anyway because the s.s. are still evil!

by showing this one docudrama the bbc reckon that they reported & covered all of the police operations that were going on in the uk at the time, where police teams were investigating child abuse in social services homes. at the end of this programme a notice comes up which states something like 46 out of 52 police forces in the uk are currently investigating allegations of child abuse within social services homes, it then lists all of the different operations including op thor which was the one i was involved with. i was hoping to get a dvd of the programme so that i could get the exact numbers & names of the police ops & make a short video to make more people aware that it was not just small pockets of abuse. i also intend to mention the pindown regime where kids in social services homes were locked on their own in a room with sensory deprivation for weeks & even months at a time. these days social services get to have closed courts where it is them against parents & they pay experts for damaging opinions against these parents, they only have a judge & not a jury & 10 times out of 10 that judge will believe the s.s. side & then kids get adopted out & lose their natural parents forever. people especially parents need to be aware because if you are a parent then it really could happen to your family, please research & find out more for yourselves. i don't think that the bbc will ever release this on dvd..... ever!! please if anyone has this by chance then could you just get them numbers at the end out here on the internet.

If Social Services is guilty of anything these days it is that they are over cautious and too suspicious too quickly, first sign of trouble and there sniffing round you like flies round on a turd.

Social Workers are damned if they do and damned if they don't, we very rarely read about the good side of Social Work, I am pretty sure kids do not get adopted out by Social Services and it would probably only be used as the very last resort, I am certain they will go into Foster Care under a Care Order, Social Services

I was in care myself in the late 90's as the Waterhouse Inquiry was coming to a conclusion, I was accommodated under Section 20 of the Childrens Act 1989(Voluntary Accommodation) and I knew quite a few people whose parents lost parental responsibility and were not adopted out, they were placed in Foster Care or in Children's Homes under Section 31, although my parents were threatened with losing responsibility for me, I stayed under Section 20 for the whole time I was in the System.

I was lucky enough to be involved with Youth Organisations when this report came out and got to do some work around stuff like this and working with things like Quality Protects, The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child(UNCRC) which mostly worked round Article 12, I have even delivered training to Social Workers and Teachers and took part in all kinds of seminars conferences and other groups.

The reason everybody does not like Social Services is because it only seems to be that the mistakes get reported and the good goes unreported, Baby P and Victoria ClimbiƩ are the most extreme examples of Social Workers getting it wrong, but lets say Social Services intervened earlier in those cases they would have also got a lot of 5h1t for taking them from family.

While I agree Social Services do not have the best reputation, they are not as bad as people make out, I generally distrust them, always did and always will, I was lucky in that I had a very good Social Worker and had a good relationship with her, her boss and the rest of her office, I also agree that there are some bad Social Workers out there who are idiots and have not got a clue what there talking about, I have met people in the department who I would not trust to look after a dog, never mind young people. At the end the day, yes, there are bad Social Services staff, but there not as bad as made out to be.
