And who knew she was a girl?
I misread the summary at the back of the box and thought it was a girl from the beginning... So I was surprised they referred to Alex as a 'he'. It kind of spoiled it.
Yes this is my question, is the character a man or a women, i believe the second one but maybe no.
In fact in the last scene of the movie on the shower courtain i think by the shadow behind it that is a gorgeous she not a he.

The character is a bloody woman, I thought that was obvious from the start and making that the 'twist' just took the piss completely...crap.

I agree, they did a lousy job in making it ambigous. Her voice, the way people talked to her, it was pretty obvious. The question though is, was she played by a man or a woman? The hands looked pretty manly to me.

shareIndeed, hands were from a man; other than that, I always thought it was a woman; women never act like that (the lesbian at the bar) towards men, (unless it's a prostitute, which it was more than clear that she was not, since she was with some friends at a table.
Good movie, though (for being a low budget movie)
