Does anybody remember a movie where a guy would vomit some type of worm or leech?
I believe there's a seen in an elevator where a woman gets killed.

Some of that sounds like the movie Puppet Master, but some doesn't.

puppetmaster came out 5 years after MM was off the air so it must be somthing else.

Could it be 1975's Shivers a/k/a They Came from Within. I believe it was David Cronenberg's first film. It took place in a condominium highrise in Canada and the worms were parasites designed to replicate human organs. Unfortunately, due to promiscuity of the inhabitants of the condominium complex the parasits took over and the people became zombies infecting everyone though boting and sexual contact. There was a guy with a perm who vomited a parasite off his balcony, and it landed on a woman's plastic umbrella walking below his condo. She thought it was a crashing bird.

It definitely sounds like Shivers, but I don't think it was ever shown on Movie Macabre. I could be wrong though.

It was definitely Cronenberg's SHIVERS, and it was absolutely shown on Movie Macabre...because I have a video of Elvira's appearance on a bloopers and practical jokes show with Steve Allen, where she shows some bloopers from Movie Macabre and talks about having shown SHIVERS and reenacting the umbrella scene from the movie with a piece of liver....which, in the blooper, gets tossed right onto her chest instead of the umbrella she's holding!

I've never seen Shivers, so maybe that's the movie you're thinking of... but I do recall an 80's flick called Night of the Creeps which sounds similar to what you're describing.

It was about these alien parasites that looked like leeches, and would enter into someone's body through their mouth, transforming them into zombies. Whenever the infected person was shot in the head, the leeches would emerge and slither off. I think I remember a scene with someone vomiting out one of the creatures.
