Help identify this episode...

I see several move macabre series in her IMDB resume, so I hope I'm in the right forum. The one I followed as a kid was in the 80's and she always had a bowl of red jello on the coffee table. LOL!

Anyway, this is a long shot, a hail mary attempt.. I doubt any of you can identify this episode since I have very little info to provide. I just hope there is some diehard fan out there who knows every episode and will know what I'm talking about.

So here goes.. I only remember the ending. There was a character seeing off another character who was getting on a bus. I think the character getting on the bus was a minor. Well once she got on, something was amiss, something is terribly wrong, the bus is driven by the very people they're trying to escape. The minor runs to the back of the buss and squeezes her face and hands against the window, banging and crying pleading for help. The other character, who was standing outside seeing her off may have been a friend or a mother, I forgot. I also forgot her reaction. I forgot if she was evil and knew that she sent the minor off on the wrong bus, or if she too was frantic and chasing after the bus to help the minor. Anyway, that's how the episode ended. The minor was trapped inside the bus helpless.

The ending of this episode has stuck with me all my life. I guess as a 7 year old, it really got to me. I never ever wanted to be in that girl's position.

Anybody have a clue?

Nobody up to the challenge? LOL.

Keep hope alive!

"Hope is a dangerous thing in here. It can kill a man."

Wasn't that from one of the Nightmare On Elm Street movies?

reply

No. This is an obscure movie.

Here's a list of the movies she showed during the '80s. Good luck and start banging!

Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural

reply

Thanks! I rented it on your suggestion, but it didn't ring a bell. I remember the bus scene was at the end of the movie, she runs towards the back and starts slapping against the window, but it was hopeless situation. That was what struck me as a child and has stuck with me... the hopelessness of her situation. I recall it was a big modern bus. Lemora did not have such a scene and it took place in the 1930's. But interesting flick.

Still searching for my movie. Anybody else?

Are you just too lazy to consult the list I provided?

reply

And how is a title list going to help? Is not like it has a description of the only scene he remembers from the movie..

reply

it's called research and that's his tip off.

reply

You know I did go through that list. Pasting the titles on wikipedia first to read movie description to see if anything rings a bell. Then I would even paste title into youtube to see if people have loaded clips or movies. You are quite oblivious to what an impossible task this is. It was only a shot in the dark that I started this thread. Just because I'm asking "anybody else" doesn't make me lazy. And when I ask anybody else? It doesn't mean I expect you to go through that list also and help me research. It only means if my description rings a bell, then give me a suggestion, just like the other user who suggested Lemora.

Get some common sense man.

You never responded to my post to say you looked at the list until now so how was I to know you used it?

You are quite oblivious to what an impossible task this is.

You said it was a movie on MM and you were provided a list of films that were on MM, it's not really THAT impossible. It would be more impossible to not have a list. Sorry, I tried to help and you didn't even bother to acknowledge my post when I replied to you.

And when I ask anybody else?

I thought this was you asking on Sat May 18 2013.

Still searching for my movie. Anybody else?

Just because I'm asking "anybody else" doesn't make me lazy.

I never called you lazy. I asked if you were because a list was provided to you that you never acknowledged until now. If you had tried to use the list with no avail - I would have imagined you would have responded thanking me for the list but stating you could still not find it. Instead, you responded to all the other posts in the thread but mine which made me wonder - did he even bother to use the list I supplied?

Guess I better go find some common sense.

reply

Good idea, and good luck finding some common sense!

reply

Thank you, darling and maybe our little friend will get some common sense too. ;)
