looking for name of film

There was a film I saw on a show that Elvira hosted. This would have been in the 80's. It may have been a short. The plot involved a film crew scouting a location in a creepy town far from the highway. A girl serves them dinner in their room and says it's from the boxes. They look outside and see a bunch of opened coffins. There is a chase and the girl gets hit in the back with a slingshot. The guys make it to the highway and tell the story in the back of a police car and end up being driven to where they started.
