I didnt watch much of it but from what I could see, IT WAS THE WORST BAISED-ON-A-BOOK MOVIE EVER! It was so inacurate! I only saw a small portion of it, but I could tell it is lousy!

I watched all of it and, although it was OK in places, it got worse as it went on. I just couldn't believe how awful it was by the end. I think it would be good as a kids movie, though.

Couldn't disagree more. The movie was quite good, especially the acting. The boy as portrayed by Peter Tambakis was unusually good. The Jackie Robinson stuff was a bit much, but perhaps there to illustrate the attitude of one character. Jack Daniel Wells, Lolita Davidovich and Stephen Rea were also fine. And even the Golem had personality. The ending was surprising, but is that bad? Well worth seeing, especially as compared to the drivel that so many studios turn out.
