Eh, we get people asking this all the time. But it's obvious now, there <i>isnt</i> going to be a PE3.

The Neo-Mitochondria have been disposed of, Eve's finished with her mitochondria powers and to top it off, the ending was very fitting.

i still want a part 3...is every other not so good thing can have countless sequels...and a actual good thing can not...something seems to be wrong then

As much as I love the Parasite Eve series, I don't think there should be a 3rd one. Personally, I really didn't like the battle system and NMCs, ANMCs and Golems in the game. However, I did like the concept behind them. This game reminded me a lot of Dean Koontz's Midnight, where the people of a town are being experimented upon and being changed into a "more efficient" species. This game was good, but ... I don't see what else they can do with the series other than maybe use Eve and make Aya the villian ... or something. I just doubt there's anything to go back to or create.
Although that's what I thought about FF7 ...

Hey I heard there was going to be a Part 3 to PE. They said Its coming out in 2007 because I saw it in some Game website. I dont remember the websites name I really dont (And Im sorry) but If you go on Google and type in Parasite Eve 3, The odds are that you will find info. On it. Hope I helped!

ive read it in game cube and Playstation magazines that it was going to come out. it just turned out to be nothing more than rumors in the end thats all Square is just too damned busy doing other things. I think that they forgot that they ever made the game to begin with.

A remake of 1 and 2 would do great for me, with voice and stuff. I would buy em 100%.

Remake sounds interesting, but also, if there was to be a third game, why not go back in time? Before the first incident and prehaps introduce the mutant virus a bit more detailed, its orgins and so on. Might work, was so long since I played either of the games but like the Bilbo book to the LOTR series, there is a lot more to be told about what went down before the incidents etc.

PS3 PE3/or remake of the first to games would be AWSOME.

i dont know if it was covered in parasite eve 2, i loved parasite eve 1 and played it several times but when i got to two i couldnt get a grasp of the new control system i just couldnt get into the game and stopped playing it after an hour...but if they were to make a three, i think it would be a good idea to go back in time, in the first game theres a part where they talk about a similar "incident" in which mitochondria rebelled and what not that occurred in japan. I've never seen it but im pretty sure there talking about the original japanese movie Parasite Eve, if they did have a third one it would be interesting to see how the japan version would fly.

No there is already the book/movie about the incident in japan it would be just dumb to create a game on that...besides there wasnt any fighting in those if you even know what happens in the book/movie...nah it wouldnt work

They could make a game about the years in between Parasite Eve 1 and 2. Parasite Eve 1 took place in December 1997 and part 2 took place in September 2000.

Actually, in Parasite Eve 2 there was mention of some suspected mitochondria working being done in other remote labratories in the world. I believe it was sort of left open in case Square wanted to make another game sequel. Sadly, they haven't.

I am a huge PE fan (I first played PE1 when I was 6, believe it or not) but I think that all PE fans should come to their senses and realize that the PE series is...dead. As much as I hate saying it, I truely believe that there is not going to be a PE3 and there's not going to be a PE: Rebirth and there's certainly not going to be a movie (especially if the main actress is Madonna). I would love a PE3 too but it's not going to happen.

Sounds like there is a possibility of a movie based on the game. Paul W. S. Anderson is trying to get the movie rights. Of course, it might still not get made...that's hollywood.

I'll tell you right now, if they go for a number three, they need to keep the original battle system that they created for no. 2. They mustn't go back to that God awful battle system from no. 1. You had to charge up and wait for the bar to attack by that time, the monsters would've already killed you.

Also, they should give her some more full auto weapons like a MAC-10, HP-MP5 with laser sights and a Glock 18 (with selector setting for semi or auto). Also, a 12-gauge street sweeper or a riot shotgun would be great. Better yet, they should bring back the Railgun too!

Sorry, I'm a little gun crazy when it comes to this game! I loved the weaponry and powers that were used in this one! I never wanted to put it down.

The battle system in 1 wasn't that bad. Play any RPGs and you'll see a very similar battle system. But the movement system from PE2 was absolutely horrendous.

Contrary to many of your doubts, Parasite Eve 3: The 3rd Birthday is being made. http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3163116 Don't throw in the towel yet, because even though this article doesn't state it, apparently PE3 is in development for consoles later on. I can't find the article that states it, but it's somewhere.
