Talisman used in film (was the best character ;)

I hand cast the pewter celtic square knot that was the main character of the film :) . Robin actually requested a selection of 3 or 4 different pieces -all hand cast pewter... For his choosing. I was pleasantly surprised at the role my work was to have in the film. However, I didn't expect it to play such a major part! All of the pieces were small, and didn't take to the camera all that well. The one used was the obvious choice, based upon the size of the the elements, and how crude it looked: it had to appear to be an ancient primitive artifact cast under pagan spell... aeons ago.

I wished the film had of had a larger budget. The book was fantastic, and the film certainly had the potential to be a block buster -it just needed more resources.
