I liked the dubbing

In the English version, the dubbing actors spoke in a neutral manner and didn't put on silly, contrived, pseudo-Japanese accents. The dialogue is clear, well-spoken, well-acted and easy to understand. The only weakness I could see is having only one actress to do all the female and children's voices. Although she did a great job of characterizing, the voices still basically sounded like the same actor. For those particular voices, I'd have at least two women in the cast with different sounding voices to create more variety and be less easily identified. Otto's voice sounded very solid and professional. It's his voice we hear at the opening of each episode and all the narration. Dr. Gori's voice was really cool also. He sounds so compelling. The actor who dubbed the voices of Overlord and Karas sounds like Bruce Boa, who played the Rebel commander in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.

Does anyone have any information on the voice actors?

There were a total of eight dubbing actors, six men and two women, and they are thus: Corey Burton, Mel Welles, Mel Gaines, Rod Dana, Tony Pope, Charles Howerton, Linda Gary and Patti Parris.

Linda Gary died of brain cancer in 1995 and Tony Pope died of complications after he had surgery on one of his legs in 2004. Mel Welles died of heart failure in 2005.
