Problems with the DVD

Is anyone else having problems with the DVD?

I bought it from Vrigin last Thursday, took it home and played it straight away ... but it didn't work properly. After I selected which episode I wanted to watch, it played that real short animation to show that I'd selected an episode ... then it played it again. And then again, and then again. And it kept playing it and never played the frigging episode. Disc 2 worked fine, btw, this was just disc 1.
So I took it back on Saturday and got a new one.

And this new copy is EXACTLY the same. I cannot play any of the episodes on disc 1 on EITHER of my DVD players. Is anyone else having these problems or is it just me?
