THIS FILM PREDICTED TWIN TOWER ATTACKS

Just saw this film on Australian television last night.

What startled me was the ending where McCarthy imagines, dreams a future New York in ruins and there's a shot of the twin towers with the top half of one of the towers torn away. Prety amazing since this film was made a year before the September 11 attacks which destroyed the twin towers.

The Matrix had images of New York that also depicted a ruined Twin Towers skyline. Did that movie also predict Sept 11? I don't think so.

His british license plate also reads "944 SEP". I'm about 45 mins into the movie right now. 944 can be broken down to 9 44 (4x11)so therefore "911 11 11 11SEP". It's cryptic and maybe stretching a tad but still raised my eyebrow nonetheless but may be they should have used another license plate. That was about 30 mins into the movie, a big 'in your face' shot if it as they came to a stop.

A bit more.......911 (11 11) 11SEP. Also 11 "squared" (the two elevens in the midlde) is 121. Look at this: 9-11-2001 (see the 121 in red). zeros are often rendered with a slash through them. So the plate actually says 911 twice, the second being written in the british style of 11-SEP. I have more in'sights', as well but i'm gonna finish watching the movie on Lifetime.

that's so dumb.
it showed the whole of new york in ruins, not just the 2 towers.
if the two towers were never destroyes and insted it was the statue of liberty you would say that it predicted that instead. what do you think they would have all of the city destroyed except the two towers?
it is so STUPID that since the attacks, any movie that showed New York in ruins was "predicting" the attacks. do you know how many movies show cities in ruins? me either, but it is heaps.
This movie showed other areas and icons of New York destroyed. Does this mean that all of them are going to be destroyed? I dont think so...

anywho, i'm done now...

I agree it's a stupid hypothesis.

Every movie that depicts a major city in ruin usually shows those city icons to be in ruins.

Just think Paris (Eiffel Tower), Sydney (Harbour Bridge/Opera House), London (Big Ben), San Fransico (The Golden Gate Bridge).

Been used in many movies nothing amazing at all.
