They did the main shooting around the town i lived in.

Everyone in Kiama was excited as when the news broke that MULLET was going to be shot in town.
They had an extras casting call at the Council Chambers (over 500 locals rocked up to the audition).
So MULLET gets made and released only a few Sydney art cinema screens and had a free screening at Gerringong Town Hall for the extras (who weren't happy to find out their scenes had been ended up on the cutting room floor lol and film wasn't that great as well!)
