Editing / Length of Movie

I enjoyed this film and its' star. However the film felt too slow at parts and was in general too long for a comedy. *Tiny Info, not much of a spoiler* Example: You didn't need scenes like our hero vs the street punks by the stairs; we got the point already that he was weak and no became fearless and a good fighter.

I desperately wished that they had been willing to cut 20 or so minutes from this film to make it a lot tighter and better flowing. Then it would have been an outstanding film.
