Stupidity vs the Law, court is in session,

Ok, so they are trying to serve her husband to get her 50% of his money.

The way I see it she would have gotten way more by just going to court considering he's been cheating on her on several occations, had a guy try to kill her and Joe (ramming their car, shooting at them etc.)...who is the dumbass writer who wrote this incoherent garbage? I'm Guessing it's the same idiot who wrote the "Cody Banks" movies too? Seriously, I've never even been to the US and even I seem to know better than that idiot.
