This ppv had a really good championship match in Shawn Michaels vs. Psycho Sid. Very good match, and right now it's the only one I can remember, heh heh. The Rumble was ok too, but one of the shortest ever at 50:14, (other than 1988's 20-man royal rumble).

Top 5 in endurance for 1997:

#5 Steve Austin - 45:02
#21 Bret Hart - 21:01
#23 Fake Diesel - 17:49
#24 Terry Funk - 15:18
#25 The Rock - 13:01

The rest:

#26 Mankind - 12:22

And that's it. Steve Austin dominated this match the moment he entered, tossing people left and right, and one at a time for a while. Oh yeah, he gets the controversial win too.

I desperately need the Royal Rumble Anthology especially for 1996-1998. My copies are terrible on vhs!!!

Kane plays the Fake Diesel in this one, lasts EXACTLY the same time as the real Diesel (Kevin Nash) does the previous year in 1996, and Kane is actually in that one as well, as the Isaac Yankem gimmick.
