shareBrigid being herself is way more larger than life and dynamic than any role I've seen Mary-Kate Olsen play. I'm not convinced Ms. Olson has the vibrancy and chutzpah to pull it off. Plus the fact that she's 5'1" and Ms. Berlin is 5' 9" isn't really a match.
The only current, twentysomething actor that really springs to mind is the girl who starred in Hairspray a few years ago, Nikki Blonsky. Unfortunately, at 4' 10", she's too small too. I guess they'd have to star an "unknown" as Brigid.

That was just a rumour, Mary-Kate never played her. An unknown did in Factory Girl. MK herself said that playing an obese woman would be a ridiculous casting choice for her.
